Amrita University’s virtual course on the Mahabharata was an inspiring and enlightening journey into the deep cultural and spiritual ideals that this grand Itihasa has to offer the world. The in-depth and thought-provoking course material, which included written analyses and online discussions, deepened my love for, and understanding of, the Mahabharata by bringing to life the multifaceted lessons and values that are depicted through the various characters’ journeys and struggles.

The Mahabharata Upanayanam Course helped me to understand it’s importance in our daily life.  Again I understood that it has importance in different spheres of life like personal, social, cultural, financial, geographical, political and environmental spheres. This course helped me to understand the core of Indian Philosophy by having better clarity on puruṣārthas and concentrate on our dharma(duty) by living a life of Nishkama karma. All stories in Mahabharata are real incidents which happens in our life one way or other.

I think that Mahabharata provides very deep knowledge which is applicable to daily life. Going inside Mahabharata is in reality going inside within yourself. The Course has been quite short for me but it is very deep, although sometimes in daily routine you cannot spend much time with the modules. For many years I had this in mind, to know more about Mahabharata, as I knew very little about it. I thank you all for making this course possible, and of course to Mata Amritanandamayi Devi because without her Grace I am sure it would have never been possible.

It has been more than a decade since I first started at Amrita, and I always look back on my experience with much fondness and gratitude. My love for learning, my love for teaching were both nurtured by Amrita’s wonderful teachers and guides. The education at Amrita instilled in me a strong desire to always do my part for society, no matter how small.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has a lot to offer to its students, including a beautiful campus, an opportunity to be part of many social activities and an amazing set of faculties who help you, both at professional and a personal front. My BBM Degree at Amritapuri Campus gave me a clearer insight into my chosen field of career. I further chose to continue with Amrita by pursuing MBA at the Coimbatore campus where I discovered my passion for Finance. Now with the help of campus placement I am happily placed at Deloitte.

Words can’t describe how thankful I am to all the core faculties at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.I thank my Almighty, Amma for all the learning experiences and opportunities she has provided to the students through Amrita educational institutions.The experiential learning culture of Amrita has motivated me to pursue my post graduation in MBA-MS from Bengaluru campus after my undergraduation in BBM from Amritapuri campus. Life at both Amritapuri and Bengaluru campuses made me become more visionary and efficient in life.

Being a part of Amrita is indeed a matter of pride for me. Studying in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham was a wonderful experience. Amrita helped me to cultivate positive outlook towards future with strongly committed and motivated mentors,without them I won’t be what i am today.The campus provides finest infrastructure facilities and peaceful ambience has enabled me to develop and expand my career by providing us with the skills that has opened doors for me to walk in to a highly professional career.Thanks Amrita for being such a beautiful memory for all Amritian’s.
